With 35 years in the business Matthew Payne is a Master Harness Maker and prize-winning saddler and bridle maker. The hand-stitching skills needed for bridle and harness making have been deployed to make a range of exquisitely finished leather goods, gifts and leather architectural fittings.

Outside of private one-off work, he has been commissioned by The Royal Mews Buckingham Palace, Ralph Lauren, Alfred Dunhill, John Lobb, Linley, Purdey and Bergdorf Goodman New York.
